ScriptView operates entirely offline and does not:

Data Stored on Your Device

ScriptView stores the following data locally on your device:

Script files: The .fountain files you import are stored in the app's documents folder on your device.
Reading progress: Your reading position in each script is saved locally so you can continue where you left off.
App preferences: Basic settings are stored using iOS's standard preferences system.

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties.

Third-Party Services

ScriptView does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. The app functions completely independently without any external dependencies.

Flutter Framework

ScriptView is built using Flutter, an open-source UI framework developed by Google. We want to be transparent about this:

No Google services: While Flutter is developed by Google, ScriptView does not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Google Play Services, or any other Google services.
No data transmission: Flutter as a framework does not collect or transmit user data. It is simply a tool used to build the app's user interface.
Open source: Flutter is open-source software, and its code can be reviewed at github.com/flutter/flutter.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data because we do not collect any data. Your scripts and reading habits are yours alone.
