By downloading, installing, or using ScriptView ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ScriptView is a mobile application that allows users to read and view screenplay files written in the Fountain format. The App is provided free of charge and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on any mobile device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

The App, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Pierre Carion and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without prior written consent.

The Fountain format itself is an open standard. ScriptView's implementation of the Fountain parser is original work.

6. Open Source Components

ScriptView is built using Flutter, an open-source UI framework developed by Google and licensed under the BSD 3-Clause License. Flutter and its associated libraries remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Content Disclaimer

ScriptView is a reader application. We do not provide, host, or distribute screenplay content. Any scripts you read using the App are files you have obtained and imported yourself. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to possess and read any screenplay files you use with the App.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
